Reformer Rehabilitation

What is Reformer Rehabilitation?

Reformer Rehabilitation is a low-impact, highly effective exercise method that enhances strength, flexibility, posture, and overall well-being. It is suitable for all fitness levels, from rehabilitation patients to elite athletes. It uses Pilates Reformers and other equipment adapted with the clinical expertise of a Physio.

Why choose Reformer Rehabilitation?

✔ Builds Core Strength & Muscle Tone – Engages deep stabilizing muscles for improved posture and support.
✔ Low-Impact, Joint-Friendly – Uses spring resistance to strengthen muscles without excessive strain.

✔ Improves Posture & Spinal Alignment– Reduces poor posture habits and supports spinal health.
✔ Supports Injury Recovery & Rehabilitation– Ideal for those managing persistent pain, arthritis, or post-surgical recovery.
✔ Enhances Balance & Stability – Strengthens muscles to prevent falls and improve functional movement.

✔ Bone Loading Resistance Training – Targeted exercise for the management of osteoporosis and osteoarthritis
✔ Boosts Mental Well-Being – Focuses on breath control, mindfulness, and stress reduction.

✔ Sporting Performance – Breaks down and targets sport specific movement patterns to improve game performance

Liz Wicks is a highly experienced Physiotherapy-trained Reformer Pilates instructor with 15 years of expertise in this aspect of Physiotherapy.

Before moving to Busselton Liz was the Principle Physiotherapist and Reformer Session instructor at Kimberley Physiotherapy in Broome.

Liz spent several years competing in state level athletics. This provided her with a passion for movement, as well as an appreciation of the value of the combination of balance, strength, aerobic fitness, flexibility and mindset in achieving optimal movement and performance.
